Conduct a thorough search of your name and avatar names on:

• Google (be sure to log out of Google first) 
• Google images (be sure to log out of Google first) 
• Facebook (be sure to log out of Facebook first) 
• Flickr
• YouTube
• And any other site you may find relevant

Conduct your vanity search with and without quotation marks around your name, and with and without your middle name.

Write down how many results each search yields and how many search results actually pertain to you. Did your searches yield any surprises? Did you find any information you'd rather not be out on the Internet? Can you tell how each piece of information about you ended up online? Did you find any information that others may have posted about you? Write down your answers and bring them to class.
